Our In-House Diagnostic Services
We rely on several diagnostic tools to assess injuries, diagnose illnesses, and monitor our patients’ health. With our digital x-ray equipment, we can peer deep below the skin to examine your dog or cat’s bones, ligaments, and organs. Modern digital x-ray equipment uses minimal radiation, and we can view detailed images in seconds. With ultrasound, we use sound waves to examine fluid-filled organs, assess masses, and monitor pregnancies.
We also have our own in-house laboratory, which allows us to run blood, urine, and fecal tests. These tests are used to look for parasites, check for signs of certain diseases (such as diabetes and thyroid disease), and establish baseline values to monitor ongoing health.
With our in-house diagnostic services, we can perform a wide range of tests and receive fast, accurate results. In-house testing is more affordable for our clients, too.
